In Kundalini Yoga, kriyas, chants, and poses are integral components that work together to balance energy, awaken consciousness, and promote overall well-being.
A kriya is a specific set of actions that combine poses (asanas), breath work (pranayama), sound (mantras), and hand positions (mudras) in a particular sequence.
Chants, or mantras, are repetitive sounds, words, or phrases that are chanted aloud or silently. In Kundalini Yoga, they are usually in Gurmukhi, a sacred language used in the Sikh tradition.
Poses or asanas in Kundalini Yoga are physical postures designed to align the body and activate energy flow. Unlike other forms of yoga, Kundalini poses are often practiced with dynamic movements and coordinated with breath.
